storm king + queen for a day

Last weekend, I finally ticked off one of the top boxes on my seven-plus year old New York bucket list. Brian zipped a car, navigated our bundled behinds around detours and bridge closures, continued through the scenic route, and delivered us safely to our destination. Storm King Art Center, the 500-acre outdoor sculpture museum nestled in the lower Hudson Valley, provided an idyllic, enchanted realm for us to escape the city’s bustle — to absorb the air and resplendence of rolling hills and towering monuments, and play king and queen for a day.
